Overview
Stark County Junior Football League provides local children with the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow through football and cheerleading. Serving young athletes throughout the Stark County and Bradford school districts as well as surrounding communities, our programs emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and—most importantly—having fun.
With the support of dedicated volunteer coaches, families, sponsors, and community members, Stark County JFL strives to create a positive and welcoming environment for every participant. Whether a child is stepping onto the field for the first time or continuing to develop their skills, our goal is to provide an experience that builds lasting memories and a lifelong love of the game.
History
Started in 1981, Stark County JFL formed as a growing number of kids in the community began traveling to other locations for youth football opportunities. Under the stewardship of Lynn Keller and Bud Porter Stark County JFL began its long history of making football available for the kids of Stark County.
Mission
The mission of Stark County Junior Football League is to bring our community together by providing young athletes with a positive foundation in football and cheerleading. Through teamwork, skill development, sportsmanship, and Rebel pride, we prepare participants to confidently take the next step into Stark County’s future athletic programs.
